Our designs

Excel Home Solutions have architecturally designed our own unique concepts, capturing inspiration from all over the world. Through continuous worldwide design research, we believe that our exclusive designs will bring an intercontinental uniqueness to the Australian property market.

We promise that our build quality will never be compromised and with our uniquely designed closed panel super insulated timber frames we look to revolutionise the building game!

Our designs and builds are focused on leaving a minimal footprint on the earth, as well as quick and easy build times, saving on time, money, and mess.

Glen Coe is a glen of volcanic origins located in the Highlands of Scotland. This cabin is close to the heart of our director and is inspired by cabins he frequented as a child. It boasts an incredible cathedral pitched roof, as well as floor to ceiling windows offering plenty of natural light and incredible views of the wilderness surrounding the cabin.

An Aurora sometimes referred to as the Northern Lights is a natural light display in the Earths sky. The roof is what inspired the name of this cabin, as it is fitted with windows allowing you to fall asleep under the stars in comfort, no matter what the weather. The aurora also features stunning floor to ceiling windows providing you with a panoramic perspective of the stunning scenery.

This rustic cabin was designed and brought to life by our managing director Bruce MacKenzie as an off-grid weekend getaway cabin to escape the day to day hustle and bustle. Available now to be transported to site.

Our talented architects have created a range of adaptable designs which can be tailored to suit your needs. Home office? Home Gym? Backyard Yoga Studio? Hair or beauty salons? The options are endless!

We understand that everyone has their own unique style. Therefore, our design team will work with you to create vision boards, sketches, and 3D renders within 7 days of your initial design brief. This will give you a greater indication of how your home will look and will relieve the stress of turning your dream home into reality. While each design is a unique work resulting from a close collaboration with the client, our distinctive touch is evident throughout.

In the initial stages, we will help you establish exactly what you want and need from your new tiny home, cabin or granny flat and plan a course of action for delivering it. Our team are on hand to help with:

  • Deciding where to build and why
  • Your needs and your wants
  • The advantages of a sustainable home/cabin
  • Likely sources of professional advice
  • Building regulations, including sustainability requirements
  • What is involved in the process of designing and building
